If you like authentic Italian food for your dinner then get yourselves over to Albero in Brockenhurst when you’re enjoying your holidays in the New Forest. These guys are on a mission to serve delicious, affordable food that has people coming back for more, and they achieve that by way of serving sumptuous pizza and pasta, all hand made on the premises. They do small plates, salads, risotto, and calzones, the lot; on the mains are the likes of Wild boar pappardelle, Calamari and tiger prawns with fettucine, and Fresh gnocchi with sun blushed tomato pesto and crumbed goats cheese, tomatoes and parmesan. The setting is relaxed, with a convivial atmosphere and tip-top service.
Albero is a small restaurant so booking is essential, and you’ll need to bear in mind that they don’t take bookings for groups of more than 12 people after 5.30pm.
