Ashburton, Devon
Ashburton is a small town on the edge of Dartmoor surrounded by the beautiful countryside of South Devon. It’s origins go back to Saxon times but today it has something of a reputation for its antique shops and well, just its overall quaintness; narrow streets, old buildings, undeniable charm. There are several tea shops and inns in the town; try the Old Library, or Moorish for tasty Mediterranean and Spanish fare. They say The Hound of the Baskervilles is a good family friendly pub.
