Bluewater- Accommodation
You’ll never forget your stay at Bluewater because this luxury group accommodation has so much wow factor. There’s something for all ages and all occasions all through the year. The design is slick and contemporary inside and out and you’ll be impressed the minute you drive through the security gates. Step in through the door to the boot room and prepare to be astounded!
Go through to the wide hallway where a 6m waterfall continuously plays to one side and tucked away in a nook there’s a suave velvet chaise longue – a nice little spot to take five. Straight ahead is a very ornate staircase, made especially for Bluewater (more later); continue along a short light filled passage and on the right is the cinema room with tiered seating, sumptuous bean bags, and in true cinema style, a starlight ceiling, interval lights and even life size superheroes. This brings a whole new dimension to family movie nights, with an entire projection wall and surround sound; all you need to bring is the popcorn!
At the end of the house is an enormous open-plan living/entertaining space; to one end is a very glamorous living room area, in the middle a big table to seat you all for happy dinners and celebrations feasts – mark the occasion by hiring private chefs to come and cater for you (see Extras). The other end of the room is a well equipped and very swish kitchen, all sleek lines with a huge central island that makes it such a sociable space. Full height sliding doors flood the room with natural light and open onto the pool terrace.
Back the other end of the house is Bedroom 5, access friendly with a double bed, and just next door, an accessible shower room with bespoke metallic tiles. That gorgeous staircase takes you up left and right to Bedrooms 1-4 and to a galleried glass walkway that can be clear or opaque underfoot at the flick of a switch. At the top of the stairs round to the right is Bedroom 1, which has a US king size bed and a large ensuite with a walk-in double shower. Doors open onto a balcony with incredible views over the pool terrace and the fields beyond; centre stage here is a sensational hammock bath, gilded in 24 carat gold leaf.
Next is Bedroom 2, with a US king size bed and its own balcony. Bedrooms 1 and 2 can both accommodate 2 extra guests on good quality Chesterfield sofa beds at no extra charge. Bedroom 3 is the other end of the house and has a US Queen size bed and an ensuite shower room; Bedroom 4 is just along the landing and also has a US Queen size bed; just across the landing is the main bathroom where there’s a free standing contemporary bath and a walk-in shower.
The eye-popping design continues on the terrace at the back of the house where a half-circle stainless steel slide stands beside the heated pool; there’s also a built-in pool bar, so swim-up, take a seat and sip your pina colada. Relax in the sunken hot tub, stretch out on the marble heated loungers, slip off for a game of table tennis whenever you fancy. Cook up an alfresco feast in the outdoor kitchen, when evening comes enjoy the warmth of the firepit. You even have your own private spa at Bluewater, with a sauna and steam room housed in a separate glass fronted building. Follow the path around the landscaped gardens to the games room/gym, and to the children’s play area.
