If you like the idea of seeing the New Forest on horseback you need to get down to Brockenhurst Riding Stables when you're on your large group holidays in the UK. It's a wonderful way to see the sights and even if it’s something you haven’t done before, you should give it a go because it will be such an amzing experience, riding at a leisurely pace through gorgeous woodland, out on the open heaths, along quiet country lanes. What a way to spend a couple of hours!
Brockenhurst Riding Stables do one or two hour rides, and what they call ‘special rides’ – for birthdays and occasions, so maybe if you’re staying nearby at a large group holiday house for some special celebration it’s something to consider. Doesn’t matter if you’re a complete novice or an accomplished rider, they’ll match you to the right horse and you’ll soon get the hang of it; as long as you’re under 20 stone it’ll be fine, and of course, children are welcome. It’s a very friendly little yard, just over a mile from Brockenhurst, and conveniently situated between two good hotels so you’ve got a choice for refreshments after your ride.
