Clip 'n Climb, Exeter, Devon
Get yourselves down to Clip 'n Climb in Exeter for a spot of unique fun-filled climbing; they say it's impossible to get bored and with 26 challenges including Astroball, Leap of Faith, The Crag and Twister, we believe them.
This is something the whole family can do and the good thing is it doesn't really matter what your fitness levels are like, or of you've never done anything like this before. A couple of the climbs have height or weight restrictions but other than that, as long as you're over 4 years old, it doesn't really matter because they have different climbs for different aptitudes; they can even accommodate people with disabilities.
A session lasts an hour and a half, and starts off with a talk from an instructor who tells you what you need to know and fits your harness and then you're off. If you don't fancy climbing you can go and watch all the action from the balcony or from the Workshop Cafe.
Important stuff to know - you'll need to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing and sensible shoes - trainers are ideal. There's no parking on-site but there's a charged car park nearby, and most of all, you really should book in advance.
Open 10.00am to 8.00pm Mon-Fri and 9.00am to 7.00pm Weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
