Paintballing seems to be a popular activity for those with a bit of gung-ho; of course, it doesn’t have to be a special occasion but it has its appeal for hen parties and birthdays, and of course, it’s a great experience for corporate team building. Delta Force has centres nationwide and in this one on the outskirts of Southampton, there are seven different game zones, including a genuine double decker bus and a medieval castle; all exciting stuff.
They’ve got all the gear you need, goggles, helmets and that, and before play commences you get a compulsory safety briefing. It’s a good idea to make sure your footwear is nice and sturdy with ankle support and a good tread – you’ll need it for the uneven woodland terrain. It’s an action packed full-on day, lots of fun and shouting, pizzas at lunchtime (or take your own grub), and to round it all off, an awards ceremony.
Kids can play as long as they’re over 8 years old.
