Doniford Farm Park, Doniford, Watchet, Somerset

If you were to stumble across Doniford Farm Park by yourselves when you were down this way on your holidays in Somerset, you’d be feeling quite smug, especially if you have children with you. It’s a lovely place, run by a happy smiley family who work hard to make it so nice here. There are animals of course – chickens, pigs, goats, llamas, and Shetland ponies. You can see them all contentedly grazing in the fields or snoozing in the hay inside; they’re a friendly bunch too so they might even come and say hello and let you stroke them. There’s plenty of space for the kids to run about, in a well behaved manner, and if it’s raining there’s an indoor play barn for the tinies.

The other draw here is the well stocked farm shop and the café where you can have breakfast, lunch or tea and cake, and on Sundays, a carvery which we’ve heard is very, very good. Go see, it's not far from Watchet.
