Go Ape Moors Valley, near Ringwood, Hampshire
Connect with your inner Tarzan and indulge in some fun-filled monkey business at this forest adventure centre; terrific fun for families, bunches of friends and corporate groups. Treetop Adventure is for bigger people to negotiate obstacles like the Pendulum Pass and the Stirrups, and whizz through the trees on a double Tarzan Swing and a Skateboard Zip. Treetop Junior is for all smaller people and has three loops of crossings and two amazing zip wires to finish; negotiate the Big U, Walk the Plank, Stepping Stones, and Half Noughts and Crosses.
If you prefer to stay on the ground you can take off on a cycling trails (bike hire available) or have a Segway experience through the forest.
Dogs are welcome (though not in the treetops) and there’s a children’s play area; food wise it's best to take a picnic because Go Ape is set within the Moors Valley Country Park and you’ll find plenty of nice spots to eat.
Go Ape is open at weekends from February to November, and on weekdays from the 25th May to the 3rd June, from the 26th July – 3rd Sept, and from 20th-28th Oct. Basically, school holidays.
