Have a maritime adventure when you're on holiday down this way; Harry’s lived in Lyme Regis all his life and for years he’s been taking people out on his two custom built fishing boats, Marie F and Sunbeam, so you’re in good hands. The boats both take 10 passengers and they set sail regularly from the harbour just past the little Aquarium at the end of the Cobb. You can choose from a one hour mackerel fishing trip or 3 hours of deep sea fishing. All tackle is provided and there are no age restrictions, but bear in mind that 3 hours at sea might be a bit much for the under 5’s!
Harry and the skipper will show you how to fish, help you reel in your catch and they’ll even gut or fillet your fish for you so it’s ready to cook. Get a disposable or portable barbecue and get it sizzling on the beach when you get back; a great way to round off your day.
