Heddinay - Accommodation
Sleeping 26 guests in 13 ensuite bedrooms, Heddinay is bursting with style and substance; it’s somewhere you can enjoy luxury togetherness, gathering together for the happy times, for wellness days and for unforgettable celebrations with the people you love most in the world. The accommodation comprises two amazing barns – a larger one sleeping 20 and a smaller one sleeping 6. There’s also an Annexe for 2 adults at an extra charge; all are set close together in a pretty courtyard.
On the ground floor of the larger barn on the ground floor there’s a utility room with laundry facilities and Bedroom 1 on the left. On the right is the second living room where doors open onto a big balcony – a place to relax in the sunshine and feast your eyes on the far reaching views of totally unspoilt countryside. Continue through the living room to a kitchen, a loo with a genuine prison door, and to Bedrooms 2-4.
The first floor is reached via two bespoke spiral staircase. The first is just outside of Bedroom1, taking you up to Bedrooms 5-7; the other is just off the kitchen and leads to Bedrooms 8 and 9. Go down that first staircase to the lower ground floor where a supersize open-plan space has a well-equipped kitchen, a long, long dining table, plenty of sofas to curl up on, and a bar. There’s also a back kitchen with extra ovens and a commercial glass washer – everything has been so well thought out here for convenience and comfort, leaving you more time to relax and enjoy your stay. Step out of the full height doors onto the terrace, fire up the bbq for a long and leisurely outdoor feast.
Off the dining area there’s a loo and Bedroom 10, a wheelchair friendly room that also has direct access from outside.
Stride across the courtyard to the smaller barn; Step into the open plan living space with comfy seating on the left and a dining area and kitchen on the left. At one end of the room you go through to Bedroom 14, at the other, steps lead to Bedrooms 15 and 16. Doors open from the living space and bedroom 15 to the private garden.
Potter round to the pool to enjoy exclusive use every day of your stay for 2 allocated slots of 2.5 hours (Mar-Oct). A few steps from Heddinay is the play field and games room with table tennis and table football, on the doorstep are 52 acres of private grounds to discover; take a picnic down to the stream, wander through the woodlands, stroll carefree through the fields.
