Introduction
Hill View is a beautifully converted dairy that sleeps up to 16 guests in 7 bedrooms in the rolling hills of East Devon. Interiors are a fantastic blend of rustic and contemporary with an industrial edge, in a separate building a few steps from the house there’s a large games room, and a spa hall with a pool and ground level hot tub. Just outside the spa hall there’s a barrel sauna.
Pre-Arrival
By road - You will find detailed directions in your check-in information once you have made a booking.
By train - The nearest train station is at Honiton, approximately 6 miles away. You can get a taxi from the station - we recommend Sparkys of Honiton (www.sparkystaxis.co.uk or 01404 47670).
Axminster train station is almost 7 miles away and is on the line from London Waterloo. You will need to book a taxi in advance to get from the station to Hill View.
By bus - The nearest bus station is at Honiton, 6 miles away. Taxis as above.
Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking
The key to the property is held in an external key safe next to the main entrance door. Details of the key safe combination will be given prior to arrival in your check in details.
All keys are the responsibility of the rental guests and we advise that you always use the key safe during your stay.
From the lane you turn into the shared yard at Hill View, which leads to the gravel parking area where there is room for 7 cars.
From the car parking area to the front door there is a gently sloping gravelled area with part lighting.
Entrance to Property (House)
The bi-fold front door is 810mm wide at its narrowest opening. There is no step into the property.
Flooring throughout is tiled and polished concrete, with carpet in the bedrooms.
Lighting throughout is a mix of wall lights, pendants and table lamps.
Kitchen / Living Area
Level access throughout the shared living space.
Bedrooms 1 - 3
Accessed via several steps to a carpeted area, not suitable for wheelchairs.
Bedrooms 4 - 7
Accessed from the level living space via a 33inch doorway.
Carpeted, bedside lights, and spotlights.
Bedroom 7 has an ensuite wet room.
Garden
Immediately outside of Hill View there is a large paved patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. A lawn slopes away from the patio.
