Monorail and Veteran Bus, Beaulieu, New Forest, Hampshire
The Monorail at Beaulieu is possibly the best way to see the grounds, you certainly get a bird’s eye view on the Skytrain, and at one stage it goes right over the roof of the National Motor Museum! It’s only a mile long but it’s the oldest monorail in England and it goes at a slow pace so you can sit back and enjoy the ride provided you have ahead for heights.
If you don’t then you’d be better off climbing on board the Veteran Bus for a gentle pootle through the grounds; it’s a replica of a 1912 open top London bus, so catch a ride and imagine what it was like back in the day.
