A proper Italian restaurant in a gorgeous Grade 2 listed 17th century building in the middle of Bradford On Avon; leaded windows, exposed stone walls, old beams and rustic timbers merge with contemporary, rather sumptuous interiors to give a cosy and relaxed ambience. Italian classics like risotto, lasagne, and some fabulous fish dishes are made using local ingredients and traditional techniques.
There’s a little terrace with an arbour and a fountain, which is a nice spot to sit for lunch or for a drink before dinner. It’s the sort of place you could take the family to because the prices are very reasonable, although be aware that for groups of 10 or more a 10% service charge is applied – but don’t let that put you off because the food is very good with a wine list to match, and the service is excellent.
