Semington, Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Semington is a quiet village where of a summer's evening it’s nice to have a wander along the towpath of the Kennet & Avon canal, then head back to The Somerset Arms for some good home cooked fodder. On your travels you’ll notice several cottages and houses that date back to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, and a 12th century church you might fancy poking your head in. Like most villages, not a great deal goes on here, but life ticks along smoothly and the sense of community is enormous. Pop your walking boots in the car and go off exploring the footpaths that start from the village.
