Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire

This beautiful 1,200-acre estate makes for a great day out when you're on holiday in Gloucestershire, with the castle rooms being home to artefacts and treasures dating back to Roman times, and a Pheasantry with a collection of 16 rare and endangered species from around the world. The grounds are breathtaking, and you can walk in the footsteps of four of England’s Queens in the Tudor Parterre – Elizabeth I, Lady Jane Grey, Anne Boleyn and Katherine Parr strolled here, and Katherine Parr is buried in the 15th century church.
