Surrey Hills Brewery, Dorking, Surrey
Lots of the pubs and clubs in this area have beer from the Surrey Hills Brewery so no doubt you’ll get to sample it more than once, but if you come here, to the brewery itself, you can see how it’s made and drink it straight from the cask.
The brewery is on the Denbies Wine Estate at the foot of Box Hill, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Surrey Hills AONB; when the sun is shining it’s a wonderful place to be and it kind of puts a spring in your step. If you’re a bunch of mates or a corporate group you might enjoy a tour of the brewery – they must be booked in advance and take 90 minutes, or can be tailored to suit you, within reason of course.
It wouldn’t be right to not take some away with you, would it? Choose from Shere Drop, Ranmore, Greensand IPA, Gilt Complex (one of those lovely golden summer beers) Albury Ruby (a warming dark one for the winter) and Hammer Mild.
