The Boathouse, Upton-Upon-Severn, Worcester, Worcestershire
The Boathouse has a wonderfully light and airy ambience, pervaded by the kind of calm that you often find in waterside restaurants. It's right on the banks of the River Severn in Upton and has an excellent reputation in these parts for serving seriously good tapas, so if that's what you like, this place should be up there on your list as one to try when you're on your large group holiday in Worcestershire.
On the menu are several delights to tempt you - Moroccan spiced lamb tagine, Home-made beef piri piri, Seabass pan fried in champagne and garlic, Tempura prawns, Deep fried halloumi, Classic Greek salad and Smoked salmon. On the ground floor there's a gin and cocktail bar and they have a static boat on the river where you can book a table for dinner; if you end up feeling rather smug when you're sat there enjoying your food and soaking up the beautiful scenery, well, who could blame you?
