The Cadeleigh Arms, Cadeleigh, Tiverton
Tucked away in the hills up above the River Exe, surrounded by glorious Devon countryside, The Cadeleigh Arms is a community owned pub and if reviews are anything to go by, they do a jolly good job. The feels are traditional village inn, the welcome is warm and the service friendly. On top of that the food is good.
The Menu is kept small, which is a good thing because that way you know that everything is home cooked. On it are pub favourites and creative modern dishes like Fish & Chips, the Cadeleigh cheeseburger, Vegan chickpea burger, and Creamy garlic chicken, bacon and mushroom penne pasta. There’s a menu for children under 12, and if you come on Sunday you can get stuck into a hearty roast.
When the sun is shining there’s nothing better than to sit out in the garden with gorgeous views over the hills and fields before you; in the colder months, rest happily indoors, the warmth of the fire to keep you snug.
