There’s a warm welcome for locals and visitors alike at this charming old coaching inn on the edge of the Forest of Dean. It follows the traditions of most country pubs, with a beer garden for the summer and log fires in the winter. The menu is pub grub and British favourites, all home cooked with things like Spicy Warm Chicken and Chorizo Salad, Homemade Pork Meatballs in Tomato sauce with Spaghetti, and Steak and Onion in a Ciabatta Bread Roll with Salad and Fries. Sundays are the day for roast of course and Tuesday night is curry night.
