The Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth, Devon
Come and get up close to some of the 500 donkeys at this lovely sanctuary nestled in the tranquil hills of East Devon near Sidmouth; you can stroke them, give them a tickle behind the ears, and even adopt one! Whilst you’re here, have a walk around - the children can let off steam in the maze or the farm themed play area. Have a relaxing breakfast, lunch, or a cup of tea and a snack in the Kitchen café, and visit the gift shop where you’re bound to find a lovely keepsake to remind you of your visit.
Open all year, 9.00 am-5.00 pm every day. Free admission, dogs welcome on leads.
