A family run village pub in the Quantock Hills, once a 17th century coaching house. It’s homely and relaxed and the food is good quality home cooked fare with the evening menu featuring things like Roasted Supreme of Chicken with Spinach Mash, Stilton Sauce & Seasonal Vegetables, Lamb Rump, Parsnip Puree, Dauphinoise Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables, and for the vegetarians, Mixed Bean & Quinoa Burger, Pickled Carrot, Chickpea & Coriander Humous & fries. It’s family friendly and dog friendly, and is very popular with people passing by whilst exploring the hills or walking on the Coleridge Way, so booking ahead is always advisable.
