The New Inn, Wedmore, Somerset
A more traditional inn that used to be part of a row of old cottages on the outskirts of this pretty village on the Somerset Levels; food is pub grub, though very tasty homemade pub grub with classics like Local Cooked Ham, Egg and Chips, Trio of Pork & Caramelised Onion Sausages with Root Mash, Onion Gravy and Vegetables, and their own New Inn 6oz Aberdeen Angus Beef Burger with Skinny Fried and Homemade Coleslaw. The atmosphere is quiet and cosy, unless there’s a big match on, and there’s a big beer garden at the back.
