The Old Bath Arms, Frome, Somerset
The Old Bath Arms is just off the main street in Frome – you can’t miss this quirky old building made of local stone, with hanging baskets and window boxes brimming with flowers in the warmer months. It’s a very welcoming place with happy-smiley service, good food and a laid back ambience, so there’s nothing not to like.
The vibe, as you’d expect in Frome, is colourful and eclectic. Prop yourself up on a stool at the bar, order a pint of the local ale and tuck into a homemade scotch egg or sausage roll while you catch the latest big match; they have screens indoors and outdoors in the patio garden, so it’s a case of wherever the mood takes you, whatever the weather’s doing.
Eat in the bar or restaurant, choose from a varied menu with dishes inspired from around the world. There’s a lot to choose from - gourmet burgers, Spanish tapas, artisan pizzas, Black Rock steaks, nachos, wraps, baked potatoes, ciabattas, and excellent Sunday roasts. Vegetarians and vegans are well catered for, so you can’t go wrong if you book for lunch or dinner here.
