The Queen’s Head, Burley, Hampshire

The Queen's Head in the New Forest village of Burley was once a blacksmith forge and it dates back to the 17th century, so it still retains a lot of original features, which is nice to see.; rambling rooms, an open fire in the colder months, It’s a friendly place were you can chat with the locals and tuck into good pub grub – burgers, gourmet pies, steaks, cod and chips, that sort of thing, but vegetarians and vegans aren’t overlooked. There’s a large terrace at the front though it does overlook a relatively busy road, children and dogs are welcome.
