The Swan Inn, Kingston St Mary, Taunton, Somerset
The Swan Inn at Kingston St Mary is a 17th century village pub with plenty of character; the sort of place where in the summer it’s nice to sit outside and ruminate with a pint of the local brew, and in the winter there’s no better spot than in front of the open fire. A nice enough pub to call in to after a stroll around the village or in the nearby hills. Food is homemade pub grub, there’s a good choice of ales, wines and spirits, and all are welcome including the dog.
