The Three Horseshoes, Chapmanslade, Westbury, Wiltshire
If the reviews are anything to go by The Three Horseshoes in the Wiltshire village of Chapmanslade certainly pulls off a few surprises – not just a nice friendly atmosphere and attentive service but excellent food which isn’t necessarily what you’d expect from a village pub. Inside is very traditional inside with log fires to keep you nice and toasty when it’s cold out, and for those sunnier days there’s a big beer garden with lovely views over the countryside.
So, what’s on the menu? To start you could have Pulled Pork bonbons, Salt & pepper squid or baked Camembert, for mains Pan fried sea bass fillet, Homemade pie of the day, prime cut faggots or hearty butterbean stew. They also offer a children’s menu if the little ones don’t fancy the same sort of food as you, and on Sundays there’s a roast
