The Trusty Servant Inn, Minstead, New Forest, Hampshire
This traditional country inn in the New Forest overlooks the green in the picturesque village of Minstead. It gets very busy in the summer, with people stopping off for a drink or a bite to eat in the big beer garden whilst exploring the beautiful countryside, so the owners are very accommodating and they welcome families and dogs.
Food is all freshly prepared and home cooked and the team work very hard to ensure there’s always plenty of choice on the menu – stone baked pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and ciabattas, and pub classics like new Forest Wild Boar & Apple Sausages with Colconnan Mash, Roasted Root Vegetables and Caramelised Onion Gravy, and Honey Glazed Ham, Scatterbrook Farm Eggs, Chunky Chips and Salad. They also have some very tempting sharing plates, and a menu for children.
