Triscombe, Somerset
This tiny hamlet at the foot of the Quantock Hills in Somerset has a wonderful old fashioned ambience, with charming country cottages and farmsteads. The backdrop of rolling green fields and wooded hills adds to the tranquil beauty of Triscombe; there’s not much there really, but it’s a wonderful place to stop and admire the scenery, to follow one of the many footpaths up into the hills, or to enjoy a laid back lunch at the pub.
