Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium, Winchester, Hampshire
Space. It’s fascinating, isn’t it? Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium is a full-on interactive science and technology centre set within the biggest standalone planetarium in the UK – need we say more? Anyone with an interest in space will be enthralled, and to be fair, we suspect that even if it’s something you’ve never given much thought to it’ll stir a spark. And wow, you can learn so much through the exhibitions, hands on activities, challenges and live science shows. There’s an Invention Studio and Explorer:Space where you can go on an immersive journey through the solar system discovering the ins and outs of human space exploration and meteorites, things like that. Captivating to say the least, unless it’s really not your thing.
