Wiveliscombe Farmers' Market, Wiveliscombe, Somerset

The atmosphere at this country market in the little town of Wiveliscombe is lively; people bustling around the stalls, stopping to chat to friends they’ve bumped into; all very convivial. The stalls are laden with some of the best local produce in the area, so good in fact, that this market won the Somerset Life Food and Drink Best Farmer’s Market award a few years back. You’ll find fish, meat, cheese, fresh produce, gourmet meals, cider and fruit juices, and some amazing bread – big fat loaves freshly baked, just waiting for some oozy butter or a big hunk of cheese.  Whilst you’re here pick up a gorgeous hand tied posy from the flower shed.
