Avellino is a traditional Italian restaurant in Ross on Wye, where you can get stuck into all kinds of authentic regional fare, from mixed antipasti plates of cured ham, wild mushrooms and goats cheese, to delicious risottos, mouthwatering pasta dishes and pizzas. There’s also an A La Carte menu with temptations like Saltimbocca Alla Romana (pan fried pork tenderloin topped with sage and parma ham in a white and lemon sauce, served with fine green beans and roasted new potatoes), and Branzzino Avellino (sea bass fillets, dusted in semolina flour, pan fried and served with agro dolge vegetables, carrots, peppers, courgettes, celery & red onions, finished with an aged balsamic vinegar and salad garnish).
