Ross on Wye, Herefordshire
Ross on Wye is a small market town in Herefordshire perched above the River Wye; it’s a bit of a magnet for tourists, pulling them from wide and far, and understandably so as it’s got a good mix of mostly independent shops and places to eat and is very attractive with some incredible viewpoints. They still hold markets twice a week beneath the sandstone arches of the 17th century Market House, and the atmosphere then is bustling and merry, with everyone filling their baskets with a bounty of local goodies.
