Crowcombe, Somerset

Crowcombe is an attractive and sleepy village nestled at the foot of the south western slopes of the Quantock Hills, with a little school, a shop, a wine merchants and the charming 16th century inn, the Carew Arms. Behind the church house you’ll find a free public car park where you can leave the car while you have a stroll about, soaking up the ambience and architecture – pretty cottages of red sandstone, and a church that dates back to the 15th century.
