Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, Coleford, Gloucestershire
If you like nature inspired art go to the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail near Beechenhurst when you're on your large group holiday in Gloucestershire. Follow the path to see creativity unleashed; the sculptures are all developed and inspired by the beautiful Forest of Dean, connecting to the life within it and becoming a part of it. See the huge cathedral-like stained glass window hanging in the trees, the iron road installed along a stretch of disused railway embankment deep, get closer to the canopy and soak up the tranquility on the Observatory, and you must see Yasasin (Turkish for Hooray!), handcrafted from a sweet chestnut tree that was felled on site; take the time to sit and wander and contemplate within the sculpture.
