Kents Cavern, Torquay, Devon
There’s a great family day out to be had at Kents Cavern, just 1 mile from Torquay, with a labyrinth of caverns where you can see the most awesome stalagmites and stalactites, and be transported back to Stone Age Times when people lived in the caves. There’s plenty for the young ones – activity sheets, brass rubbing, cave painting and fun digs, and outside there are woodlands to explore where they can join in the trails and hunts. Find out more at the visitor centre, then relax with refreshments in the café before heading to the gift shop to find a souvenir of your visit.
