Lynmouth, Devon
Take a stroll around this quaint little harbour town on the North Devon coast; it falls within Exmoor National Park so you can imagine the beautiful setting. The harbour is a nice, quiet place to sit and watch the world go by; it’s good for mackerel fishing and when conditions are right, the surf is pretty impressive. Stroll out to the tower at the end of the quay, or along the East Lyn River to Watersmeet. Have a ride on the ingenius Victorian cliff railway that links Lynmouth to Lynton high up on the cliff, have a mooch about then come back down and go for lunch at The Pavilion Dining Room or The Rising Sun Restaurant.
