Mickleham, Dorking, Surrey
Roughly midway between Dorking and Leatherhead, Mickleham is one of those commuter belt villages in the Surrey Hills AONB that certainly has its fair share of lovely old buildings, many of them listed. Other than visiting folk who live in the parish, people come here because it’s a good place to set off for a walk to Norbury Park or Box Hill; more often than not The King William IV is part of their plan because with such an idyllic setting, it’s a good place to finish up at for refreshments.
