Mullins Coffee Shop, Dorking, Surrey
Mullins Coffee Shop is in the old quarter of Dorking, in the ancestral home of William Mullins who was one of North America’s Pilgrim Fathers, so there’s a bit of history for you. Inside it’s all light and airy and they use the prettiest old china, which is lovely. You’ll get a warm welcome and you’ll be sorely tempted by the freshly baked cakes and scones. They’re open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea so pop in whenever you like. The menu has a good choice of sarnies, paninis, toasties and jacket spuds, as well as luscious salads, homemade daily specials and scrummy puddings. It’s not a huge place by any means so if you want to go as a group give them a call and arrange for you all to go for afternoon tea.
