Snowshill Manor, Broadway, Gloucestershire
This beautiful Cotswold manor house, owned by the National Trust, is home to a fascinating collection of artefacts including toys, musical instruments and Samauri armour amassed by an eccentric Englishman, Charles Wade. Between the house and gardens is The Priest's House, the modest cottage where he chose to live, and where he had his workshop, once a bakehouse and a brew house.
There are 2 acres of gorgeous English gardens to explore, with a model village and a woodland with a hazel maze – something for the whole family to enjoy in peaceful, picturesque surroundings.
