The Cotswolds

The beautiful Cotswolds span an area of nearly 800 square miles, with the majority in Gloucestershire. Here you’ll find stunning countryside, upbeat cities, pretty market towns and picture postcard villages; the traditional yellow Cotswold stone buildings, quaint little shops and tearooms are a delight to visit – we suggest Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and The Slaughters, or go to the time honoured Slad Valley and step back into Laurie Lee's world of Cider With Rosie You’ll find heaps of things to see and do in the Cotswolds – a bird zoo, a perfumery, a model village and a dragonfly maze are great for all the family, or there’s several wonderful historic houses and gardens, nature reserves, and a plethora of country inns and cafes to stop off at for a bite to eat. Visiting the Cotswolds is like stepping back in time, and something not to be missed whilst on your UK holidays.
