The Gallery Restaurant is set on the picturesque Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking; as you can well imagine, it’s a wonderful setting, so book a table for lunch, go along and enjoy the whole experience. We’re quite confident that you’ll soon be telling your friends about it.
The restaurant is up on the third floor of the winery, with gorgeous views over the 265 acre vineyard and across to Box Hill; the ambience is relaxed, the décor crisp and contemporary, and actually, rather sophisticated. The menu is seasonal with daily specials, and everything you see is made using the best and the freshest produce they can source from predominantly South East suppliers. And quite rightly so.
So there you are, lunchtime stretched out before you, all yours to enjoy. What are you going to have? Well, to give you an idea, you could treat yourself to a cheeky midweek lunch of Pigeon, curried barley pilaf, naan croutons and bhaji to start, Stone bass, orzo, blood orange, crab and kale, for mains, and Pear crumble, raspberry hash, vanilla mascarpone and lemon balm to round it off. Go on a Sunday and have Roasted butternut squash soup, ginger ale jelly and warm focaccia bread for starters, then tuck into Slow braised Hill House Farm pork belly with apple toffee, crackling and all the trimmings, and finish with Eggnog panna cotta, Vanilla shortbread and crème patisserie.
