A rustic pub with a warm welcome in a charming hamstone village nestled at the foot of Ham Hill Country Park. It's just what you'd expect inside; a real fire, flagstone floor and pine tables. The winter menu has such delights as spinach and ricotta cannelloni with cashew nuts, and beef goulash - just what you need after a walk in the bracing fresh air; the summer menu has stuffed aubergine with cashew nuts, mozzarella and sun blushed tomatoes, and Tom's pork, apple and stilton burger. There's a little beer garden at the back or you can sit out the front and contemplate.
Open Mon-Thurs 12 am-3 pm and 6.30-close; Sunday 12-close. Dogs welcome.
