The Manor Arms, North Perrott, Crewkerne, Somerset
The Manor Arms is a former coaching inn in the village of North Perrott in Somerset that dates back to the 16th century; it’s retained all the traditions of a proper village inn and there’s plenty of country character in the form of flagstone floors, a big inglenook fireplace and open fires. It’s served the community well over the years and still does, with a bar menu and an A La Carte menu; all food is homemade using locally sourced ingredients and menus change with the seasons, just like they should. On the mains are Garlic chicken wrapped in bacon, Homemade beefburger, Lamb shank in mint gravy, and Roasted vegetable lasagne, with more delights on the specials board. Perhaps worth a try after a pony trek with Downclose Stables or a walk in the hills.
Note the pub is closed between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm Tuesday to Saturday, all day Mondays and it shuts at 3.00 pm on Sundays.
