The House
Step into the main barn at ground floor level; to the left is Bedroom 1 and a utility room, to the right is the second living room with doors opening onto a huge balcony with spectacular views over the unspoilt valley. On from the living room there’s a kitchen, loo, and Bedrooms 2-4.
Outside of Bedroom 1 a spiral staircase leads to Bedrooms 5-7, by the kitchen stairs rise to Bedrooms 8 and 9. Go down the first stairs to the lower ground floor where it all opens out and everyone goes ‘WOW!’ It’s an amazing space, with a long dining table, a well-equipped kitchen to one side, and straight ahead, the living space with sofas to comfy up on and full height doors to the terrace. Round the corner is the back kitchen, the other side of the room there’s a funky bar. Off the dining area is a loo and Bedroom 10 (access friendly).
A few strides across the courtyard, the other barn sleeps 6 in 3 ensuite bedrooms. Left of the hall is Bedroom 11, to the right are Bedrooms 12 and 13. Straight ahead is the open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining table and comfy seating. French doors open to the garden where there’s a bbq and outdoor furniture.
Follow the path to the pool where you’ll have exclusive use every day of your stay for 2 allocated 2.5 hour slots (March and October). Along the drive is the play field and games room where you can thrash out a few rounds of table tennis and table football. At your disposal are 52 acres of glorious grounds to wander; linger by the stream, dawdle through the fields and woods.
Happy days, peaceful nights, the luxury of being together.
