The House

Step inside and you’re in the games room, where there’s a pool table, table football and table tennis. Wander through to the movie room/living room, and on to the dining room where a long bespoke dining table sets the scene for happy celebration feasts and doors open to the garden. The vibe is country-modern, the feels are laid back and homely, the rustic character remains in the thick stone walls, exposed timbers and quirky windows.

Carry on round to the loveliest kitchen, a huge space that’s  well-equipped for your large group stay. The whole of the ground floor allows for very sociable times, a fantastic opportunity to spend time together, relaxing and being happy.

Back in the games room stairs lead to Bedrooms 1 and 2, from the movie room/living room stairs take you to Bedrooms 3 and 4 and a bathroom, and a third staircase in the dining room leads to Bedroom 5. This layout gives you individual sleeping space and works really well if you’re spending a few days away with families with younger children.

Bedroom 6 is off the dining room, and Bedroom 7 is beyond the kitchen; 4 of the bedrooms have zip and link beds (super king or twin), 2 of them sleep 3 so work well for families.

The huge garden wraps around two sides of the house, with a large patio and lawns, outdoor furniture and a barbecue, a hot tub, and a play area and trampoline. Beyond the garden are a whopping 15 acres of private grounds with woodlands to stroll through, and walks down across the fields to the riverside – take a picnic, roll up your trouser legs and go for a paddle.
