Right in the middle of Winscombe, surrounded by the glorious countryside of the Mendip Hills National Landscape, The Woodborough Inn is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving pub classics, specials, pizzas, lighter meals, and an excellent Sunday roast, all made with local produce and ingredients. It’s a good starting points for walks, so go early and fill your bellies with a Full English then climb up to the craggy summit of Crook Peak, or take a stroll along The Strawberry Line, finished off with a pub lunch of 12 hour beef chilli, Baked ham with free range eggs and skin on chips, or a Ranch chicken burger. Treat yourself to a Rhubarb and custard posset, Cheesecake of the week, or a Somerset cheese board, wash it down with a pint of cold lager, craft beer or local cider.

There’s a menu for children and special diets are catered for; what’s particularly nice is the warm welcome to a proper country pub where you can stay inside by the wood-burner when it’s chilly, or if the sun has got his hat on, sit outside and soak up the rays.

Dogs are welcome in bar area and beer garden, and there are electric vehicle chargers for customers use. Everything sorted!
