The accommodation at Big Thatch comprises 2 separate properties linked by a courtyard; the centuries old, thatched house sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, and once a dairy, the single storey annexe sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. The gardens are enchanting - part walled, with lawns to play on, a walnut tree, a thatched hideaway and an orchard where the trees are frothy with apple blossom in springtime. There are walks from the doorstep and if you venture out into the local area, you’ll find family attractions, activities and country pubs. The beaches on the Jurassic Coast are just over 30 minutes away, the M5 and the A30 are within easy reach, and Honiton station on the London Waterloo line is a 20 minute drive.
