The House
You'll love Sampford View from the minute you walk into the reception hall - wide enough for a feature fireplace, table tennis and an inviting sofa; this gorgeous country house has all the homely feels, along with lashings of period character. Off to the left is a WC and a utility room with laundry facilities, to the right is the sitting room.
Straight ahead of the hall is the large and well-equipped kitchen with a four oven Aga, as well as a double electric oven and halogen hob. Next to it, the conservatory-style dining room has a long table to seat all, and doors through to the indoor spa area. All yours is a 4m swim spa and downstairs in the converted cellar, a sauna and showers. Accessed from the spa area and the hall is the games room with a pool table, colourful sofas and a big TV.
Upstairs off a part galleried landing are a large family bathroom and Bedrooms 5 and 6; these all have zip and link beds (super king or twin), except Bedroom 6, which is a twin room; Bedrooms 1, 3 and 5 have an extra single bed so can all sleep 3 people. Back downstairs off the kitchen a lobby leads to Bedroom 7.
The grounds are fantastic, with sweeping lawns, mature trees, a play area and tennis court. The icing on the cake is your very own outdoor pool, heated for use from April to the end of October. The pool terrace has garden furniture, a covered area and an outdoor kitchen.
