Just a few miles from the M5, Teds Place can be found down a little track, out on the Somerset Levels, right beside the River Brue. Back in the day the station master’s house stood here serving the local branch of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway, but now it’s been replaced with a very sophisticated modern house for large group holidays and short breaks throughout the year. 6 bedrooms sleep 12 guests and there’s 1 extra bed for a child aged 16 years or under at no additional charge. There’s a large games room with a pool table, table tennis and arcade game, and in the garden, a 4.8m swim spa.
Teds Place is fantastic for large group holidays in the country. The house is well-equipped, light and airy with views over the river to open fields where cows contentedly graze. There are walks from the doorstep or you can slip into the Brue and explore the Levels by canoe. Nearby you’ll find beautiful nature reserves, traditional village pubs and family attractions like Cheddar Caves and Gorge, and Wookey Hole. Close by are the beaches of the Somerset Coast and the city of Wells with its famous cathedral and moated Bishop’s Palace.

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great weekend, the games room was fabulous for all to enjoy. The lounge was comfy and spacious, and sleeping arrangements very good for a big family group. We would suggest the house could do with oven gloves supplied, and the cistern in the middle floor toilet was a little temperamental. It was wet for our weekend, and the floor from the games room would have benefited from a mat like at the big bifold doors as a number of people slipped over on the damp floor. Thank you for a fantastic weekend"
