Slip in, chat away as cotton wool clouds drift by above; at night look up to a sky studded with stars.
This purpose-built holiday and celebration house has blasted right into the 21st century to offer luxury group accommodation at the heart of a working farm in the Mendip Hills National Landscape - so you get the best of both worlds - the cool and contemporary and a big slice of country living. On the ground floor a humongous open plan living and entertaining space means there’s plenty of room to gather together for big happy sociable times; it has a games area, dining and lounge areas, off to the side, separated from the living space by a unique glass wall, is the all-singing-all-dancing kitchen, and just around the corner, a shower room.
Upstairs 6 bedrooms (5 ensuite) sleep 18 guests; 3 of them have mezzanine space so they’re excellent for families, for friends sharing, or for older children, dorm style. Doors open from the living space onto the enclosed garden at the back of the house where you’ll find that whopper of a hot tub. There’s also a Scandi style cabin sauna, a BBQ lodge you can use any time of year, and a covered outdoor dining area with a bar and TV. Jollyoaks is indeed a jolly place!
And it’s on a farm, so you can go and collect freshly laid eggs for breakfast, and order homegrown produce and pork that’s raised and grazed in the fields, or seasonal Shropshire lamb. Go for a stroll, right from the farm, through the fields, up over the hill and back down for lunch in the village pub. What a lovely thing to do together on your group holiday in the West Country!
For days by the sea head to Weston-Super-Mare, just a couple of miles away, or go for a wander along Brean Sands. Within a short drive of Jollyoaks there are several country pubs, restaurants, and award-winning attractions to visit.
